F.A.Q
WHAT TEMPERATURES CAN THE VINYL WITHSTAND ?
The vinyl can withstand temperatures from -10’c up to 50’c.
We do not recommend direct contact with the following -: Hot Pots, Pans, Cooking Trays, or Dishes as this may cause the vinyl to warp and blister.
WHAT SURFACES CAN I HAVE WRAPPED IN VINYL ?
In short most surfaces can be wrapped as long as the surface is clean, undamaged and free of dust & wax.
Smooth surfaces such as Glass, Painted wood, Plastic & Laminated surfaces will give the best adhesion.
Surfaces that are porous (such as MDF) will require a primer to be applied before the wrap.
In most cases vinyl wrap does not tend to adhere to textured plaster.
HOW WATER PROOF IS VINYL WRAP
Vinyl wrap is water proof but in areas where there will be water contact, we would seat the edges with either silicon or a sealing pen
HOW DO I CLEAN MY NEW VINYL WRAP ?
You can use most household cleaning products to clean your vinyl (apart from bleach products), but we recommend warm soapy water with a soft cloth.
CAN I CHANGE MY WRAP ?
If after a while you wish to change your wrap then the best way of doing this is to contact us at All In The Wrap, trying to remove the wrap yourself could cause damage to the worktop or cupboards.
MY DOORS HAVE BEEN PAINTED CAN I STILL HAVE THEM WRAPPED ?
This will depend on the finish, the surface will need to be smooth prior to the wrap being applied.
We can advise you if the surface being wrapped requires any prep work prior to the wrap being applied at the time of consultation.
IS THERE A FIXED PRICE ?
No two wrap installations are the same your wrap installation is bespoke to you and there for the quotation give by us will be tailored to your requirements.
HOW LONG WILL MY WRAP LAST ?
With the correct care and attention your wrap can last up to ten years.
Each type of wrap will vary on lifespan but you can ask when you select the wrap you wish to have installed.
HOW LONG DOES THE INSTALLATION TAKE ?
Because each installation is bespoke and no two installation are the same a wrap can take between one and five days (we never rush perfection), you will be advised of a timeline at the consultation.
If the installers come across any unforeseen issues during the installation which could result in the installation taking longer, you will be advised at the earliest opportunity.
IS THERE MUCH DISTURBANCE DURING THE INSTALLATION ?
As you are not having your entire kitchen / bathroom / bedroom/ office / shop etc ripped out and replaced the disturbance is kept to the minimum.
All we ask is that the surfaces and surrounding areas are clear to give our installers full access and space to work.
Once the installation has been completed our installers will assist you (if required) to put things back and we will always leave your premises clean and tidy.
